Mauritius Shopping Fiesta 2012: Malagasy People Invited to the Party!

The Director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), Dr. Karl Mootoosamy made a trip to Antananarivo, Madagascar, from Friday, June 15 till June 17, 2012.

The goal was to bring together the print and television Malagasy Tana to explain the many advantages of the first edition of the Mauritius Shopping Fiesta.

The event will run from June 29 to August 5, 2012. The idea is to combine shopping at our island paradise and offers the best connection with air in the region, Mauritius is positioning itself to be the shopping center of the Indian Ocean.

The Mauritius Shopping Fiesta caters to tourists, but also in Mauritius, which will all have the opportunity to enjoy great discounts in many stores, as well as a dozen malls across the island. These promotions will focus on many products: designer clothes, outfits and accessories, beach, ship models, paintings, jewelry, electronics, appliances, mobile phones, etc..

The Director of the MTPA, also argued that there will be a host of entertainment during this period ie, the Carnival of Flic en Flac, on 1 July, with the presence of over 600 local and international artists whose Carnival Brazil to Paris among others. A regatta and a beachwear show are also expected in Grand Baie Mahebourg and respectively.

The Beauty Queens Lebanon, Reunion, Mauritius, Brazil, UK and Great Britain will be part of the glamor side. To enhance coastal areas, activities such as a regatta will be held at Mahebourg and Beachwear Show in Grand Baie in the north of Mauritius ..
