Kristen Stewart Tops Forbes’ Highest-Paid Actresses List

According to Forbes, the 22-year-old star bumped Angelina Jolie out of the top spot with a whopping $34.5 million in earnings from May 2011 to May 2012 and is the youngest actress on the list by 16 years.

Reason being, “if the studio tried to switch in another actress, fans would revolt. So for the last two Twilight films, Stewart has been able to demand an estimated $12.5 million per film, plus a share of the profits.”

Coming in a close second is Cameron Diaz with $34 million earned last year thanks to her surprise hit “Bad Teacher” along with “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and “The Green Hornet.”

In third place with $25 million is Sandra Bullock as she still collects profits from her 2009 film “The Blind Side,” along with her forthcoming Alfonso Cuaron-directed sci-fi flick “Gravity.”
