Courts Mauritius Opens First Store On The African Continent

A partnership between Bramcom Holding (owner of Courts Mauritius) and Victoria Furnitures Limited (an important Kenyan firm dealing with furniture) was necessary in the Victoria Court project.

“The recent developments form part of the natural expansion of the company in Sub-Saharan Africa,” Claudia Feistritzer, Chairman of Bramcom Holding underlined. The latter added that Kenya is a promising market with a population of more than 43 million inhabitants with a fast growing middle class.

The chairman of Seaton Investment, Dawood Rawat, directors of BA Investment, a few Kenyan businessmen and important personalities of the country were present for the opening of Victoria Court last night.

Courts Mauritius already has a network of 34 stores in Mauritius, Rodrigues and Madagascar. Over the past two decades, Courts has grown to become a leading household brand in the Indian Ocean.
