The 6 th day was that of coach Serge Henry. He took his first hat-trick of the season, what is more, a victory in The Seattle Gaëtan Halbwachs Cup with Ice.
This horse has signed his 4 th local victory while his career was seriously threatened last year due to serious health problems. In fact, last season, he had participated in only one race.
This year, he made his return to competition at the opening day and he had not fallen behind Casey's War. Despite this good performance, he was an outsider this Saturday, April 20th with a rating of 14/1.
He shone the price of a good effort to finish while at 600m, it was, however, in an awkward position, several lengths behind the leader.
Seattle Ice came complete a great day to coach Serge Henry, whose colors were flown in the first two races including Commodore Pete (1st run) and Variant (2nd race).
The harvest could have been better if only Captain Vedici had resisted the return of How Many To Won in 5 th race. The latter offered a first victory in 2013 jockey Latham and coach Alain Perdrau.
The champion jockey, Johnny Geroudis, saved the honor with favorite Kite Surfing in the 7 th race.
