The BOI actively preparing the third edition of Private Equity Conference held on 12 and 13 September at the Hilton Hotel and the theme "Connecting Global Investors with African Opportunities."

The work will be inaugurated by the VPM and Finance Minister Xavier -Luc Duval .This framework conference with the strategic vision of the government to consolidate the position of Mauritius as a regional hub for investment, says Ken Poonoosamy in the latest edition of the information bulletin of the BOI . A prominent local and international speakers series are expected.
This will be an opportunity to discuss all aspects of the private equity and explore investment opportunities in Africa.September will also be marked by the holding of two Mauritius Trade and Investment Forum 2013 , jointly organized by the BOI and Enterprise Mauritius , Nigeria and Ghana from 16 to 20 September.According to Ken Poonoosamy , the inauguration of the new terminal at SSR International Airport by Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam is part of the national development strategy .
"This new terminal is an essential component in the planned infrastructure of the country and consolidate the advantage of position Mauritius as a regional center of all affairs is expected that the flow of passengers doubled." All stakeholders agree that the growth potential will become more visible. The new terminal will not only give a new impetus to airport operations, but also the emergence of businesses dependent on air transport. In addition, it will strengthen the links between the markets of Asia and Africa in line with current strategies , "says Ken Poonoosamy .
The director of the BOI believes that the quality of airport infrastructure will improve the overall ranking of the island in terms of overall compétitivité . Maurice is currently ranked 54th on the list of the World Economic Forum Competitiveness . The BOI expects that the classification of Mauritius for the period 2013-2014 is expected to strengthen investor confidence .The director of the BOI believes that the launch of the Film Rebate Scheme last year has been a growing interest of film directors to film production in Mauritius.
