INFOTECH is the major annual Information and Communication Technology (ICT) event organised in Mauritius by the National Computer Board (NCB), operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Technology, Communication and Innovation. The aim is to create awareness on emerging technologies and provide business opportunities in the ICT sector.

Over 100,000 people are expected to visit Infotech 2015.

The objectives of the event are to:

  • provide information on developments and achievements in the ICT sector;
  • create awareness on emerging technologies;
  • demonstrate and promote local talents, expertise and know-how;
  • sensitise on the potential applications of ICT and choice of technology for effective business and individual solutions;
  • sensitise on career opportunities in the ICT sector;
  • offer a meeting platform for local ICT operators to develop collaboration and deals with potential technology partners and customers ;
  • facilitate commercial exchanges;

Infotech 2015 consists of the following components:

  • ICT Exhibition
  • Innovation Space
  • ICT Career Guidance
  • ICT Job Fair
  • Gaming Zone


 Entrance is FREE of charge

Job Fair

6 companies, namely CSL, Mediacall, Amazon, CCA International, Link by Net and AXA Customer Services, will be present to support the recruitment process in the ICT and BPO sector. 3 other training institutions namely RRJ Learning Centre, Charles Telfair Institute and the ISDP will be present to enrol students for studies.

In addition to the Career Guidance/Job Fair, at least 14 presentations, will be presented to the general public. This platform offers a unique opportunity for Industry Leaders to present training, job and career opportunities available within the sector.

This year at Infotech, the Call Services Ltd (CSL) will operate a live call centre to demonstrate the opportunities of working in call centre.
