Mauritius will temporarily reduce taxes on fuel to allow for prices cuts and alleviate the effect of rising international oil prices, Finance Minister Pravind Jugnauth said.
The price of gasoline will decline 3.9 percent to 49.3 rupees a liter and the diesel price falls 5.3 percent to 41.2 rupees a liter, Jugnauth said in a e-mailed response today to a parliamentary question.
