PRB 2013: New Salaries Of Senior Officials
From January 2013, officials will receive `a wage increase of 22% calculated on the base salary in 2008. The report of thePay Research Bureau (PRB) was released in the afternoon of Tuesday, October 9.

According to the report of the PRB in 2013, officials will have their base salary increased substantially. Here is a non-exhaustive list, the largest public service wages, such that `they are defined in the new test proposed by the PRB. The public has 25 departments and 47 departments.

The new salaries in the judiciary:

  • Chief Judge Rs198000
  • Senior Puisne Judge Rs 168,000
  • Puisne Judge Rs 156,000
  • Judge in Bankruptcy and Master and Registrar Rs 132,000
  • Director of Public Prosecutions Rs 156,000
  • Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Rs 132,000
  • Chief Assistant State Attorney Senior Director of Public Prosecutions Rs 111,000
  • Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Deputy Chief State Attorney Rs 102,000
  • Deputy Master and Registrar and Judge in Bankruptcy Rs114000
  • President, Industrial Court Rs 111,000
  • President, Intermediate Court Rs 102,000
