Training in Italy for Local Farmers

To register, applicants must complete and submit the registration form to the office of the International Organization for Migration, in Port Louis, by 1 July. The documents are available at the offices of the Agricultural Research and Extension Unit in several parts of the country.
According to a document issued by the authorities concerned, two categories of applicants will be accepted. The first category concerns the entrepreneurs. Among the criteria to be met, the applicant must be able to read, write and speak English. The second category is for organizations registered non-profit, as cooperatives.
This pilot project is funded 100% by the European Union. The training will focus on the value chain, certification and marketing of products as well as culture and organic farming.
