PRB: Report Manraj Will be Reviewed
The Ministry of Public Service has decided to establish a committee to to scrutinize the complaints of officials following the report of 'Errors, Omissions and Anomalies Committee' (EOCA) established in the wake of the report the Pay Research Bureau (PRB) 2013.

This committee will be chaired by the Senior Executive of the Ministry of Public Service, Sateeaved Seeballuck. The committee focused on the revision of the last report PRB was chaired by Dev Manraj.

In a circular issued on Friday for Supervising Officers of the Public Service, parastatal bodies and regional authorities, and the Island Chief Executive of Rodrigues, the Ministry of Public Service indicates that this committee will finalize its report no later than on August 15th.

The circular states that " in the wake of representation received following the publication of the report of the Errors, Omissions and Anomalies Committee 2013, Government has decided to set up a committee to consider the representations and make recommendations" This committee will include representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister, those of the Ministry of Finance and those of the Pay Research Bureau.

The revised report Manraj "satisfy officials"

The decision of the Ministry of Public Service to establish a committee to review the exception report Manraj PRB 2013 is welcomed by the union class. In a statement to Matinal Friday Naraindranath Gopee, president of the Federation of Civil Service Unions & Other (FCSOU), say that the report, due in August, will alleviate the situation in the public service.

Naraindranath Gopee should also declare that it welcomes the decision by the government to accede to the request of the trade union federation, which represents about 28,000 officials to consider their demands. It should also state that the officials do not count appear in the future with this decision.

The president of the State Employees' Federation (SEF), Radhakrishna Sadien also welcomes the government's decision. In a statement to Matinal Friday, the union said that the federation had served a notice to the government in relation to the need to review certain recommendations Manraj report. "We had given the government one week to decide how to proceed. Now that things are clear, we will testify before this committee, "said the chairman of the SEF.

Radhakrishna Sadien further proposes that Dev Manraj, who chaired the committee that focused on abnormalities PRB 2013, has a chance to chair the committee to study the grievances of employees. An idea shared by Naraindranath Gopee.

In the circular issued on Friday, he stated that " the committee will complete compilation of representations by 15th August 2013 to enable the examination of all representations received and make appropriate recommendations to government"

The document also indicates that complaints that do not arise from Manraj report will not be considered. " It should be noted that only issues arising out of the EOAC Report may be considered by this committee. No new issues will be attended to" it said in the circular.
