Importers can now simply send an SMS or see their cell phone to know the progress of their case. This new service was launched on Monday, August 5 at the Customs House.
For example, a message with the number of the declaration notify the importer that the declaration has been paid to Customs. Also, when a shipment is cleared through customs, a message is sent to warn that the procedure was performed.
This service is intended primarily for importing and using the services of an agent to perform their customs declarations.
