84.7% failure. Eleven out of thirteen candidates failed the exams Medical Council to be registered as doctors. This is the first time that post-internship examinations are held in Mauritius.
The results were reported yesterday, Wednesday, October 30, by the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate in the Medical Council. There were seven candidates GPs and six dentists to have participated. They have all failed. The two aspiring GPs successful, they barely got more than average. Three candidates received more than 40%. One obtained between 30% and 40%.
The President of the Medical Council , Baboo Servansingh says that "it is difficult to give a valid opinion on the level of the candidates or investigation because the sample is too small. Two candidates were still good. "
