Through this service, Mauritius Pose following in the footsteps of the Government and the Department of Technologies of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to make Mauritius a hub in the field of communication and technology. The project has already been launched in the new post office at Triolet. The service is available 24/24 hours and should be extended to other offices across the country soon.
"It's a trend and we wanted to launch this project. Office Triolet is already equipped with Wi-Fi and we expect to launch the service in other parts of the country. Thirteen offices offer this service in the first place. Wi-Fi will be available in other post offices,'' said Giandev Moteea, Chief Executive Officer of the Mauritius Post. With this service, the number of sites where Wi-Fi is available free to Mauritius increase significantly.
