SME Fair Trade & Technology: Technology For Everyone

Computers and technology are at the service of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The opening of the SME Trade & Technology Fair was held Thursday at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre at straws.

Among the exhibitors with products or solutions for SMEs, we find the telecommunications giant Orange. The operator wants to offer entrepreneurs including Internet connections appropriate to their needs. 

For example small businesses starting with little money and have a great need for an Internet connection can turn to the ADSL line input range is specially dedicated to them. There is a connection with a speed of 512 kilobits per second (Kbps) with a maximum capacity of 5 gigabits (Gb). 

The price is Rs 750 per month. Orange offers until the end of the show this Sunday, free installation for the purchase of a fixed line.Finally, entrepreneurs who spend more time on the road or in the office can choose the mobile connection to internet via 3G (third generation).

The SME Trade & Technology Fair ends Sunday. Opening hours are 10:00 to 7:00 p.m.. Free shuttles are available from the station of Rose Hill and Victoria Square, Port-Louis. The entrance fee is Rs 25 per person and free for children, students, pensioners and people with disabilities.
