Global Business: ATMC Opens Register for Members

Banks, insurance companies, financial service providers, professional firms (lawyers, auditors or accountants) and other licensed by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) companies can now join the Association of Trusts & Management Companies (ATMC).

Founded in 1997 and consisting mainly of Trusts and management companies in the area of Global Business, the ATMC recently adopted new statutes allowing it to accommodate new types of members, including those mentioned above. The direction of the ATMC is confident that through this new development it will give a new impetus to the association and facilitate the integration of new players in the industry and professional service providers.

association has appointed Gérard Fearless functions of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to assist the committee of directors in achieving the objectives of the association. In addition to improving the competitiveness of the Global Business sector, ATMC also wants to promote ethics, good governance, equal opportunities and social responsibility in the industry. Gerard Sanspeur has in the past served as Director General of the Mauritius Freeport Authority (MFA) and the Board of Investment (BOI) before serving as a consultant to the World Bank in Botswana, Madagascar, Uganda and Tanzania. He is director of a consulting firm, ENOVA Consult, and also serves as a member on the boards of some companies in the sector of Global Business.

ATMC The account soon launch a new website to improve its visibility in the industry and provide a platform to exchange views and information with operators.
