Facebook: User Arrested For "Offensive" Against the Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam

Investigators arrested him in the morning and the suspect was brought before the Court of Flacq where a provisional charge of "sing a telecommunication device for the purpose of causing inconvenience f" was brought against him.

The suspect was held in custody. He retained the services of Mr. Zahid Nazurally.

At first the young man claimed his right to silence, before going to confession, admitting that the comments targeted the Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, a minister and the police force.
