A Chinese film crew will organise a shoot in Reunion Island

In line with the promotion of Vanilla Islands, a Chinese film crew will organise a shoot in Reunion Island in collaboration with Ile de la Réunion Tourisme (IRT).

Pascal Viroleau, the director of IRT, who was present during a meeting, confirmed the crew’s interest in collaborating with Mauritius on the project.

The Shanghai Haixiang Culture Media Company visited the director of MTPA Karl Mootoosamy and the team will leave the island on Wednesday .

The group, which comprises four members, are visiting the island to identity sites for a television serial that will be shot on the island for 10 days. The serial will be aired during next the autumn season on the CCTV China.

During their stay, the crew will shoot the various scenic locations on the island. The director, Liu Yun Liang said that the whole team is very excited and impressed with the island.

On Saturday, the crew visited the north region of the island at night to get a feel of the nightlife.
