Mauritius Fashion Tour 3rd edition

The Heat Fashion Tour has returned with its third installment.

The winter edition of this fashionable event will be held on May 7 at Caudan, May 14 at Phoenix Commercial Centre andMay 21 at the Trianon Shopping Park. Kit Acheemootoo, director of Heat Agency announced these details during a press meet at The Links, Ebène on Wednesday. He added that seven renowned shops from various shopping malls will also present their ready-made winter collection.

“As Heat Agency likes to innovate during its fashion tour, this time, there will be a competition titled ‘Designer Creativity Contest’. Eleven designers will participate. We have two categories — five best professionals and six young talents,” said Acheemootoo.

In the professional category, the designers are Anabelle Fleury, Samuel Yeung, Sweetie Ramlugun, Nima Rawah and Sanjeet Boolell, while in the young talents category the designers are Varuna Jeetun, Noorina Niamut, Anais Lionnet, Fabien Fauzou, Veenasha Jilloo and Bhavna Shibchurn.

The designers will present the outfits under the themes Metallic Fun, Hot Pinks, In the Skin Trade and Ruched & Draped. The grand finale will be held on May 28 at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre, Pailles.
