The Currimjee Informatics, which provides IT solutions for 20 years organised a Customer Day on July 27 at Clos St Louis, Domaine les Pailles.
The company gave an overview of the latest developments in technology.
The director general of the company, Raj Lalji said that they are concentrating on areas such as first business analytics which enables to access information quickly when it comes to decision-making.
The aspect of financial involvement is another area of importance. Moreover, Lalji added that it is important to show transparency in the drafting of business reports and that financial management solutions are proposed in order to manage the specialities in the world of finance for large groups.
Lalji also spoke of the advancements in standards and noted that Currimjee Informatics offered hosting servers and the service was also provided to some local
companies.
Commenting on the IT industry, he said that there was a human resource crunch because local experts who study abroad often do not come back to the island.
