Fair of Dijon: Maurice participates as a guest of honor

The flavors of Mauritius highlighted at the International Fair and gourmet Dijon, France. As the guest of honor at the fair, Maurice can present not only its food but also its folklore, its typical products and handicrafts.

Over 600 exhibitors will be present. The organizers expect to welcome some 200,000 visitors for this 81st edition will take place in the Exhibition and Congress of Dijon.

On the side of the craft, officials Mauritian present, for example, ship models, bags of straw or Creole dolls. They even offer demonstrations for visitors to the show.

But the focus will be on the culinary delights of Mauritius such as curry, rougail and other dishes that are the pride of the island. Several spices were also among the exhibits in Dijon. Participants will view the sugar, jam and rum.The public can even taste the freshly squeezed sugar cane juice.

In addition, an animation is provided by Tropical Feelings. This is intended to present to the public sega International Fair. This group consists of a singer, three musicians and four dancers will perform for several evenings.

The fair also features the latest trends whether in the home furnishing, household equipment, crafts, fashion, beauty or health, DIY and even recreation.
