LUX* Island Resort has five hotels, three in Mauritius. Thus, the Hotel Beau-Rivage is LUX* Belle-Mare, The Pavilions is now called LUX* Le Morne and the hotel becomes LUX* Legends Grand Gaube. The other two hotels that have changed their names are: LUX* Maldives (former Diva) and LUX Reunion Island (formerly Grand Hotel du Lagon).
Paul Jones believes that this project is an opportunity to ensure all he has learned during the past 35 years he spent in shaping hotels in exotic destinations. According to him, is more than a name change. "LUX * means that those who stay in the facility celebrating the pleasures of life," he argued during the presentation of this concept to Press this Tuesday, November 29 at LUX * Belle-Mare, former Beau-Rivage.
This rebranding exercise was made possible through hard work on the part of a team. It has mainly focused on a way to offer a simple, informal and personal. Paul Jones took the reins of Naïade Resorts in late 2010. He said he immediately saw the opportunity to create something unique.
"Luxury is not what it is. Customers are looking for the true image of Mauritius. They do not stay with us to see the rooms or swimming pools, they come to the nature and Mauritian culture. That's why we bring the food, music and key in our Mauritius hotels, "he added.
Freshly roasted organic coffee, ice cream flavors of childhood, the film shows on the beach, are among other new features that are introduced in the wake rebranding exercise.
