This was confirmed by the director of the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES), Professor Lucien Finette, on Thursday.
Speaking to The Independent, Professor Finette stated, “The MES has been informed that the SC results will most likely be received by January 30.” As for HSC, the MES made a request to have the results on February 6. “It is not 100 per cent sure that this request will be accepted but we hope the results will be out on that day. The MES is ready to undertake this task,” he added. After two months, the suspense for over 33,000 candidates who took part in the Cambridge SC and HSC examinations in 2011 will finally be over. According to the statistics obtained from the MES director, the number of students who took part in the SC examinations 2011 was 20,655 in Mauritius and 664 for Rodrigues.
