This international exhibition is organized by the universities Rotary Club of Grand Bay for twenty years. Ministers and Bunwaree Jeetah conducted the official opening this Thursday, February 9 in the presence of RI President Clud Grand Bay, Lindsay Albert.
This is the twentieth edition of the Mauritius International University and Career Expo being held this year at the Exhibition Center of freeport Mer Rouge. From the beginning, in 1992, the Ministry of Education and Human Resources was involved in organizing the fair. Since 2011, the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Research and Technology is also associated.
This year, the international fair brings together universities over 80 exhibitors. Indeed, representatives of institutions of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Malaysia, China, India, Australia, from Reunion Island as well as those based on Mauritius will present the exhibition center in the Freeport Red Sea. The exhibition ends Sunday, February 12.
During his speech, Lindsay Albert explained that this event is now listed on the international calendar of fairs in the field of higher education. He asserts that this fair to help thousands of Mauritian students to find their way in that it is the academic tertiary. He also emphasized the commitment of his organization in the education sector and particularly in support of pupils and students from the poorest of the coaches of the company.
The Minister of Education and Human Resources, Vasant Bunwaree, announced the creation of a virtual academic counseling center in collaboration with the University of the meeting.
