The Shopping Mall Flacq Opens in Four Months
The Flacq Shopping Mall will be launched in four months and 90% of spaces have been reserved. The project will create over 500 jobs and native species will be incorporated into green space.

The Eastern Region will soon have its gem. Indeed, the Flacq Shopping Mall will open its doors to the public in September, in four months. This shopping centre will be of high standard with an area of 13,600 m2, with parking for 300 cars and over 90 shops and a 'food court', all on five acres of land.

Several tenants of this centre are already hard at work on the site for the development of their premises. "To date, commercial spaces are filled to 90% with respect to the initial project. The centre will be operational in September and now we are proud that the work will be completed in time for the Flacq Shopping Mall to come into operation in four months, "said Rudi Goorwappa, developer centre.

This project has been extended of 3600 m2, where you can find a supermarket Winners, the State Bank of Mauritius, which has thus its new branch in Flacq and 25 new retail spaces. This section should be operational in November this year.

"The work to extend our project is already underway and grew rapidly. We are confident that this part will be completed on time and it will open in November this year. I must emphasize that this new wing of Flacq Shopping Mall follows a growing demand from traders and entrepreneurs, hence the idea to further expand the Flacq Shopping Mall, "says Rudi Goorwappa.

He warns that once operational the centre will create approximately 500 jobs by November this year. "Flacq will now have its commercial centre in its own right, modern and secure. This is where the locals and those from the surrounding population to shop in peace, eat at their leisure or simply window shopping, "says the promoter. Forty surveillance cameras will be installed around the perimeter of the mall.

Visitors can also enjoy free access to WIFI once inside the Flacq Shopping Mall. Another highlight: the country's native plants will be built in green areas of the mall. Negotiations are currently underway for the installation of a health club form with modern facilities. Flacq Shopping Mall is a project that is Boulet Rouge, not far from the center of Flacq.
