The Summit is being organised in partnership with the Indian High Commission, Enterprise Mauritius and the Board of Investment (BoI). It is also being supported by the Mauritian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Mauritian Management Association.
The first of its kind in the island, the event will bring together business leaders to discuss the new competitive challenges as well as financial and social issues in the current times of uncertainty. The Summit will also focus on how management innovations have influenced companies and the navigational challenges.
Business leaders will discuss, debate, and deliberate the need for strong leadership in Emerging Economies under the theme ‘Leadership in a Globalised World: Nurturing New Partners’.
The event will host high profile dignitaries from India and Mauritius including Sachin Pilot, Indian minister of State for Communications and IT, Xavier-Luc Duval, vice-prime minister and minister of Finance, and Cader Sayed-Hossen minister of Industry, Commerce and Consumer Protection.
Speaking about the event, T.P Seetharam, High Commissioner of India to Mauritius said, “Mauritius is uniquely placed at the crossroads of continents and is known for innovation and agility in dealing with global changes. The Summit promises to be a productive interaction that will enhance economic interaction in the region.”
