Flic en Flac Carnival Hymn: € 3000 To Win!

The MTPA holds a competition to produce a video of a minimum of one minute duration featuring the choreography of the hymn of the Carnival of Flic en Flac. Euro 3000 to be won!

This contest is open to participants at local and international is the first of its kind organized by the Mauritian tourism industry.

The conditions of participation

- The music (the anthem) is already available on the website of the Carnival. ( www.carnavaldeflicenflac.com )

- The choreography must reflect the festive spirit of Carnival, the rhythm and pace of the dance steps are simple, catchy and exciting, can be easily identified.

- All technologies are allowed to produce the video, no one needs a professional video camera. The use of PDAs and other technologies are accepted.

- The number of submission / entry per participant is unlimited.

- A dance solo or group is accepted.

- The video produced must be posted on the official Facebook page of the Carnival of Flic en Flac (www.facebook.com / FlicEnFlacCarnivalCompetition ). Alternatively, the applicant may submit a video at the headquarters of the Tourist Office, 5th Floor, Victoria House, St Louis Street, Port Louis, working hours between 9am and 16hrs, and the MTPA will take care to post the video Facebook.

- If the participant can do the choreography on the soundtrack available on the website, he will visit the headquarters of the MTPA, the reception, to take delivery of a copy of the music on CD format. CD copies will be available from 9am to 16hrs working days.

- A shortlist of 5 best music videos with the most number of 'Likes' on Facebook will be performed.

- Final selection will be conducted by a panel of judges based on the technical and aesthetic qualities of the videos submitted, and on the conditions specified above.

- The winner / winner will be the one / one having received the maximum points.

- The competition is open to the world and attendees can already start posting their video on Facebook or drop them off at the front desk of the Office of Tourism of Mauritius (MTPA).

- The deadline for submissions of video clips: Friday, June 29, 2012 at 00hrs GMT

The MTPA reserves the right to use, free of any copyright, any video submitted including one that will be award-winning for their business needs.
