The park proposes a new concept allying efficient space management and planning in an agreeable setting over 45 acres.
Certain office spaces are already available for sale, including the headquarters of the old mill rebranded as ‘1827’, covering 1200 square metres and ‘La Distillerie’ with 600 square metres.
Didier Audibert, development manager, MDA Properties explained that Vivéa fits well with the ‘Moka, le coeur de l’île’ campaign (Moka, the heart of the island). “It aims to be at the centre of activities while preserving Mauritius’s national heritage. We have invested in a sustainable project that responds to present needs without compromising on future developments,” he said.
Land will also be made available for sale to those who wish to construct their own offices, while respecting the environment-friendly parameters, the conservation of existent trees.
Vivéa is located between the M1 motorway and the currently under construction Terre Rouge/Verdun/Ebène by-pass. It will moreover be made more accessible when the St Pierre by-pass, currently under construction, will be inaugurated in 2013.
Audibert added that a qualitative development and planning is key for current enterprises. The business park thus aims at being a good alternative for business heads looking for a modern and environment-friendly office.
It also comprises a large parking area, underground electricity and telephone networks and will be connected to an optical fibre cable in the near future to ensure fast internet connection.
