In fact the JCI Mauritius first launched this flagship programme in 2001 and it is now seeking to foster or revive the entrepreneurial spirit among its members and within communities around the world. In his address national president of JCI, Nadaraj Mathuvirin, stated that the JCI Mauritius NBBPC 2012 is a competition which is designed specifically to recognise potential and dynamic young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40. “JCI Mauritius provides young entrepreneurs with the tools and the opportunity to turn an idea into a viable business plan for the creation of a new enterprise, endeavour or social activity designed to create positive change,” he said.
According to the organisation, the need for entrepreneurs with a strong commitment to social values, integrity and business conduct based on principles is equally important. With this programme, JCI Mauritius intends to offer financial assistance to young entrepreneurs as well as introduce them to a network of young leaders who share their enterprising spirit.
JCI local vice president Nirvana Sonatun, explained that participants will be invited to follow a workshop in order to groom and train them to draft a proper business plan.
