Westfields High School in 2015

The Westfields International High School will be built in Medina. The investment Edufields Ltd, who is also the promoter of Northfields International High School in Mapou is about Rs 400 million.

Initially, the boarding school welcomes 300 students this number will subsequently 500. The student population of the school include 24% foreigners. Among students targeted: Asians, Africans and those in the region of the Indian Ocean.

The curriculum will span seven years and lead to certificates of HSC and International Baccalaureate. After passing the school, students can continue their studies in the UK, USA, South Africa and Australia. The construction of the Westfields High School should start within 18 months.

Management courses

In December 2011, about 35,900 students are enrolled in its academic courses, including 22,442 in public institutions and 13,464 in the private sector and distance courses abroad. Numbers increase because in 2010 they were 21,766 and 11,661 respectively.

Fewer than a thousand foreign students live Maurice. Some 595 in 2010, they moved to 635 last year.
