Grand Baie La Croisette Opens: New Concept of Urban Lifestyle in Mauritius
With an area of 50,000 square metres, the newest mall in Mauritius is located at the junction of Vingt Pied and Sotisse roads.
“We promised to open before the end of October,” Danny Fon Sing, director of Sottise Development, promoter of the project consisting of shopping, office, leisure, services and residence.
Grand Baie La Croisette will house famous fashion stores such as Quick Silver, SHOE CITY, Forever Young, Arrow, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Mango, FabIndia among others. There will also be new brands such as Sinéquanon and Jeudi Après-midi. A Mauritius Commercial Bank regional branch opened last week.
The food court of Grand Baie La Croisette will consist of KFC, Nando’s, Loulou, Vida e Caffe (South African coffee shop), Jeff de Bruges (famous French Chocolate Factory) and Saffron Grill (Indian restaurant) among others.
Concerning the RES apartments (Real Estate Scheme), the promoter will offer a garden on the roof. The green space will be reserved for apartment owners. Each property will be sold at Rs 13 Million.
Grand Baie La Croisette will also include 28 apartments reserved for Mauritians costing Rs 6 each.
The new lifestyle centre in the North was constructed by Wilson-Bayly-Holmes-Ovcon in joint-venture with Building & Civil Engineering.
