In addition to the shortfall estimated at Rs 300 million for the interruption of economic activities in the morning yesterday after the panic caused by torrential rains, the first details of assessment made by the authorities indicate that the main impact will be felt in food crops, including field vegetables growers have been severely affected by floods and overflows.
