The date of the holding of this meeting will be announced by the Commerce Minister Cader Sayed Hossen-return mission to the Great Peninsula this week.
This ministerial meeting should be chaired by Kader Sayed Hossen and his Indian counterpart Anand Sharma. The regional organization will be responsible for facilitating interaction and discussions between the Ministers of Trade and Industry of 20 member countries. Their delegation will be composed of businessmen, entrepreneurs and decision-makers in the industry. The latter can thus explore the possibilities of expanding cooperation in key economic sectors and industry.
Affairs Ministers Responsible six dialogue partners of the IOR - China, Egypt, France, Japan, Britain and the United States - have also been invited. The IOR attaches great importance to the promotion of trade and investment. The July meeting will develop new avenues of cooperation in agriculture and agribusiness, marine resources, tourism, maritime transport, energy, construction, technology Telecommunications and information, textiles, pharmaceuticals and mining.
