Initiated by HRDC: Business Directory Soon

A directory of businesses in the ICT sector and outsourcing will be ready soon. The initiative comes in the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC), with the support of organizations representing the interests of the sector. The contents of this directory will be endorsed at a workshop Thursday in Ebony.

These sheets will be used to standardize the names of ICT professions with employers, employees, recruiters and state. They will also enable students to better understand the industry.

Each card includes the following trades: 1) Appellations - to consolidate into a single sheet similar trades; 2) Missions / activities; 3) Training 4) Qualifications; 5) Change in trade.

The project directory trades was made by several groups of professional ICT / BPO, including ICT Commission of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Mauritius (CCIFM) and the Outsourcing and Telecommunications Association of Mauritius (OTAM ).

The directory will be presented as an official reference document after validation and taking into account the comments expressed by the professionals at the workshop scheduled Thursday in Ebony. "To compare the contents of the directory with the reality on the ground and establish common terms of reference, the critical phase of validation will take place during the workshop," says HRDC.
