Alleged Real Estate Fraud: Justice Rejects Complaint South African Rory Kirk

Hundreds of millions of rupees are at stake South African Rory Kirk, claiming about Rs 100 million to the brothers Timol for real estate projects that have not been realized at Bain Boeuf, had challenged a point made by the defense before the trial claim is made on background. The South African, who requests a refund of nearly $ 3.4 million representing partial payments for the purchase of six bungalows, do not agree with this argument by Timol. Two suspects among the promoters, namely brothers and Ousman Zoobair Timol, were arrested in the case last November. Paul Bérenger, as leader of the opposition, had raised this alleged fraud in public and in a Private Notice Question, mid-November to the Assembly. Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, then promised a commission of inquiry.

Promoters are believed to have taken large sums of money with clients for projects bungalows and villas in the north. But instead of these projects, they have invested that money in a commercial job, the Trianon Centrepoint. This project has also not materialized. Timol brothers denied all allegations.
