Horse Racing, Day 2 2013: Team Maingard Looking...
Already won the first main event of the season last week with the victory of Casey's War at the expense of Green keeper, the team Maingard can strike another blow on Saturday. Participated in the conquest of a third success in the Duchess with Tales Of Bravery, a winner of nine races in South Africa.

Since he has the Champ de Mars in 2007 after a successful career in South Africa, the trainer Ricky Maingard has already awarded the Duchess on two occasions including in 2008 with Ski Pass and 2011 Royal Chalon. It also has two second places in this prestigious race Profit Report (2009) and Eagle Squadron (2012), evidence that always defends very well in the Duchess.

It is with the aim to shine once again in this event he brought in during the season last year, the horse Tales Of Bravery, a courier who beat some of the best horses in South Africa where he shone on nine occasions. He brought over a million rand on South African soil.

Tales Of Bravery has had sufficient time to acclimate to local conditions and perfect it the largest of its preparation to the sea for two weeks, it is regular Champ de Mars during morning workouts and he gave an overview of its potential both on the main track or on the grass when tested to the stalls.

The most serious opponent Tales Of Bravery is called Solo Traveller, another crack that should be talked about in Mauritius. He also rubbed shoulders with the best horses of his generation and he signed some prestigious victories in South Africa. It has benefited from meticulous preparation and it is not far from his best. His gallop on the main track Tuesday was revealing.

Rameshwar Gujadhur coach, who has never excelled in this race, keeps a "silent hope" with Polar Bound, an excellent sprinter-miler who has distinguished himself against good horses in South Africa. It has also highlighted the drive with his first line, it will be dangerous on Saturday.

The team relies on its Foo Kune duo Glitter Star Top Seller and to overthrow the favorites and both horses have the qualities required to make their presence felt in the big race this week. As Tales Of Bravery and Solo Traveller, Top Seller ran and won against the best horses of his generation in South Africa.

The outsiders in the race are Code Rock, Beacon Flare, Stunning Tiger lancewood and C Major.
