Creative Young Entrepreneur Award 2013: In Search
The Creative Young Entrepreneur Award 2013 was launched yesterday at the premises of GML in Port Louis. The competition organized by the Junior Chamber International Mauritius in collaboration with GML group, aims to elect the young country's most innovative entrepreneurs. Interested parties have until August 18 to register.

"We are looking for young businessmen and women who have used their imagination to create a pure business, transforming an existing company or an industry successfully. The competition covers a very wide field: creativity in the development of a product, service or even how to enter a market, "said yesterday Pritty Padaruth, president of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Port Louis.

The important advance Ms. Padaruth "is mainly to find out how they managed to overcome the obstacles in a new way and with success. We will evaluate those who have demonstrated that they have used their talent, imagination and ingenuity in solving problems impeding the smooth running of the company. "

For his part, the CEO of GML group sees the Creative Young Entrepreneur Award in 2013 a unique opportunity to work with JCI Mauritius prone to the same values as the company. "GML has always been committed to the Mauritian entrepreneurship and it is thanks to its founders that we are among the leading groups in Mauritius. With this contest, we not only want to reward a young entrepreneur who has impressed us with his creativity, but also encourage others to follow this path and to start, "says Arnaud Lagesse.

For him, "Innovation and creativity are essential in a business that it can continue in the current financial climate." "These young entrepreneurs will be in a few years in charge of the Mauritian private sector. It is today that they shape their approach to the world of business. That creativity and innovation are part is a very good thing. "

The Creative Young Entrepreneur Award 2013 is open to entrepreneurs aged 18 to 40 years. Interested parties must complete a registration form available on the Facebook page JCI Mauritius CYEA and site http://cyea-jcimauritius.org . The deadline is August 18. A jury of experts in the business world will consider the applications received and will announce the finalists on September 9. An awards ceremony will be held on 20 September 2013.
