Business: Proposed Merger Between SKY and Deep River Investment Ltd.

"The goal of a possible merger is to consolidate all companies SKY Group in a single vehicle. This will allow us to create value for all our stakeholders and in particular the shareholders of both companies, "said Arnaud Dalais, Chairman of SKY Group.

The official statement says that if the Directors of both companies concerned approve a plan of merger, the process of obtaining the necessary permits will be switched on, particularly with shareholders and relevant authorities. Shareholders and the investing public are advised to exercise caution in relation to the transactions around the actions of these two companies, and will, of course, be kept informed of developments.One pole of SKY Group, CIL is now one of the leading investment companies in the country. Managed as a long-term investment funds, SKY holds a portfolio of significant stakes in several sectors of the economy such as financial services, tourism, real estate, a private equity and health. CIL currently has approximately 2,000 shareholders.

For its part, DRI is the holding company of SKY Group has investments in three companies, namely Atleo Ltd (21%), CIL (38%) and CIEL Textile Ltd. (42.9% including 14.28% through CIL).DRI has also issued a press release announcing the acquisition by the company of shares held by a shareholder in a share buy-back procedure. The transaction was completed as scheduled Thursday, Aug. 15.
