Recruitment of Substitute Teachers

As every year during this period, the Ministry of Education and Human Resources shall initiate procedures for the recruitment of substitute teachers in primary schools in conjunction with the next academic year.
Recruits, operating on a temporary basis, are called into service when the need arises. For this year, the ministry is seeking substitute teachers for the Oriental languages.
Interested candidates should be holders of a School Certificate or a similar qualification from an institution recognized by the Ministry. The salary is payable pro rata and will be based on the number of days the teacher has worked. The retired teachers can also apply for the above positions.
Application forms are available on the website of the Ministry of Education: http://ministry-education.gov.mu and in the following centers: MITD House in Phoenix Mutual Aid Building at Guy Rozemont Square Port Louis NCCRD Sir Herchenroder F Street Beau Bassin and Jhugroo Building in Vacoas. The deadline for submission of forms is 14 November 2013.
