Old-age pension and welfare

The first step for seniors related to the pension. This goes to Rs 3623 for 175,000 retirees aged 60 to 89 years and Rs 10,789 for 90 to 99 years. As for the trees, their monthly pension increased from Rs 11,800 to Rs 12,300.

As the old age pension, welfare experiencing increase of 3.7%. In particular, the Child Support Scheme introduced last year and for 6300 children, to encourage them to attend school regularly.

For Carer's Allowance, the income threshold for those eligible for assistance is revised upwards. The age limit in the case of children with severe disability is pass from15 to 18 years.

Medical Service

On the program of medical service at home, seniors have the option of continuing with the free medical home visit every month or receive a stipend of Rs 6,000 in cash per year, payable in monthly installments.

Recreation centers

An action plan is also expected from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Protection regarding child prostitution, domestic violence and early pregnancy.
