Floods and Heavy Rain Across the Island

Vacoas, Curepipe. Helvetia, The future, circumstance, Bagatelle, Ebony, Quatre-Bornes, Curepipe ... Heavy showers lashed several parts of the island on Wednesday 27 November, in the afternoon. They hit with a high intensity and it rained a lot in a short time, says the director of the weather, Mahmad Beebeejaun. It shows that an hour 35-40 mm of rainfall were recorded.

Firefighters for their part already overwhelmed with calls for help. Particularly by individuals whose prices were flooded. A Curepipe, two fire crews are currently hard at work on the side of Renaissance College or more courses were flooded. And in the area of Rose Hill and St Pierre, water accumulations were noted.
