Conspiracy and attempt to influence a public servant. These are the two new charges against the assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Anil Kumar Dip. The latter was arrested on Tuesday, December 10 as part of the investigation into the embezzlement of Rs 80 million to the Bramer Bank.
The ACP Dip was court-Mahebourg. He released after providing a deposit of Rs 50,000 and signed an acknowledgment of debt of Rs 1 million.
Anil Kumar Dip was first arrested, Wednesday, Dec. 4. The police suspect to be aware of transactions large sums of money that took place under his roof . Indeed, the son of the ACP, Chandra Prakashsingh Dip is considered the alleged mastermind in the case of diversion. The highest ranking woman, Chandny Dip was also apprehended.
