This project contributes to the advancement of the Mauritian economy. It thus provides for the creation of over 350 jobs during the construction phase.
The main features of this project are as follow: 130 residential units classified into various categories, including 'gardenhouses' and' penthhouses. They will have a space to accommodate parking for 280 vehicles, a restaurant, a cafeteria, a shop, a special area for children, a fitness center and a spa. The project will be developed on an area of 34 310 m2. The site is located 250m from the beach of Mon Choisy. If all goes as planned, work will begin in May 2014. Delivery is scheduled for October 2015.
Several projects will be launched in the coming months. A Mon-Choisy, 130 luxury villas will be built 250m from the public beach. This project, developed under the Real Estate Scheme (RES), require investments of Rs 1.2 billion.
Another major project, still in the North, the construction of 84 bungalows in Balaclava, divided into 14 residential blocks at a cost of one billion rupees. According to officials of the proponents companies Nath Nath & Co Ltd and SAI Hotel Ltd, the project will create more than 500 jobs. The residential complex will have a restaurant, a games room, a gym and a spa. Each bungalow is equipped with a swimming pool.
For its part, Tirupa Tourism Enterprises Ltd has obtained the green light from the authorities for the construction of a hotel and villas in Anse La Raie. Work must begin by mid-March and will be completed early 2015. The project is a 138 room hotel, a dozen villas, a restaurant, a conference room, a swimming pool, gymnasium, space for children, among others. The land will be built on an area of 54 600 m2. This project will create hundreds of direct jobs.
