Triolet Mediclinic Opens at March 19

Investments made by the State amounted to Rs 54 M. In addition to the 24,000 inhabitants of Triolet, those of neighboring villages, Solitude, Trou aux Biches, Grand Baie, Fond du Sac, and The Vale et Petit-Raffray, among others, will benefit.

A similar project was born in Plaine-Verte in 2012. The Mahmoodkhan Hyderkhan Mediclinic was required investments to the tune of Rs 100 million. Three other mediclinics will be built in Goodlands, Stanley and Floreal in the near future. A budget of approximately Rs 200 million was voted for this project. The 2014 budget also makes provision for the introduction of a new direction for doctors specializing in service primary health care in the Area Health Centres. A sum of Rs 11 million is also designed to work raising two Community Health Centres in Baie du Tombeau and Phoenix and Area Health Centre Bamboo.
