Belarus, Mauritius Intend to Develop Legal Framewo
Belarus and the Republic of Mauritius intend to develop the legal framework of bilateral relations, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

Belarusian Ambassador in Russia Igor Petryshenka held a working meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius in Russia Ms Indira Savitri Thacoor-Sidaya in Moscow on 13 November. The Ambassadors exchanged the views on the current issues of bilateral relations. In particular, the parties discussed the prospects of expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and the development of the necessary legal framework of the bilateral relations.

The meeting took place in furtherance of the agreements reached during the seminar-presentation of Belarus' export opportunities for the embassies of the African countries by the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow on 15 October. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius.

Diplomatic relations between Belarus and the Republic of Mauritius were established on 26 September 2003.
