African Leadership Network To Gather In Mauritius

The African Leadership Network (ALN) is pleased to announce that this year’s ALN Annual Gathering (ALN2016) will take place in Mauritius from 2-4 November, 2016.

Each year, ALN convenes the most interesting, inspiring, and influential people in Africa for 3 days of relationship-building and leadership development. Participants will leave with powerful relationships, enhanced trust, and a deeper understanding of Africa and the key trends shaping its future.

ALN2016 features an experiential keynote from Grammy award-winning jazz musician Kirk Whalum on what jazz improvisation can teach African leaders about collaboration, innovation, and leadership. ALN2016 also includes the Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship (AAE), the premier awards that recognize Africa’s leading entrepreneurs. At the AAE awards ceremony, guests will be inspired by the achievements of 12 extraordinary entrepreneurs who have achieved success in Africa despite the odds.

In intimate tailored workshops, ALN2016 attendees will explore the challenges of leading as an African elder, millennial, and woman. They will learn about leading in an uncertain world, succession-planning, and navigating change in Africa’s burgeoning cities. They will also gain practical tools for managing mature organizations.
