Description:

The fast pace of competition & change, on the one hand, and a continuing slow-down in the world economy, on the other, has forced many businesses to re-consider their strategy.

Faced with slow revenue growth, and profits that do not meet expectations, top management and company boards push for major strategic change. Simple fixes, like cost cutting, increasing marketing expense or ad hoc attempts to export existing products – do not solve the problems.

A deeper look at how to achieve effective and stronger success is needed.

Outline:

In this seminar, we look at how top Management and the Board can lead the development of a strategy, and how they can encourage strategic transformation.

Strategy Development will of course begin with Customer Centric marketing strategies. Then we explore operational strategies with new ways to deliver better customer value at lower cost.

But devising a good strategy is not enough - without a Strategic Transformation of the company, the best Customer Value Proposition and the perfect plan for Operational Excellence, will fail to produce the desired improvements in performance.

In order to succeed, management needs to engage all parties in Strategic development and implementation, it needs to know and avoid the many pitfalls that prevent a plan from being realized, and it needs
to actively coach the company along the path to Strategic Transformation.
