SMEDA Organises First Business Angels Forum – Platform for Investors to Meet Entrepreneurs

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) hosts this Thursday, 26 July its first Business Angels’ Forum at Coromandel.

This meeting will be the ideal platform for potential entrepreneurs to showcase to local investors (The Business Angels) fresh innovative projects which can be financed.

The aim of this forum is to provide future entrepreneurs more finance opportunities to accomplish their projects. The Small and Medium entrepreneurs, especially the start-up promoters are facing difficulties to get bank loans.

The Business Angels’ Forum will help local investors and potential entrepreneurs communicate and reach an agreement to finance innovative projects. The future entrepreneurs will also benefit from the guidance of these Business Angels.

In order to participate at this Forum, all future entrepreneur must submit a business plan indicating clearly its impact on the market and how it will be commercially viable.

Abstracts of projects in the following fields can be submitted: E-commerce, Bio-Technology/Biogas Energy, Plastic, Handicraft, E-training, Medical Tourism, Detergent, Assembly of Solar Panel, Water tank for storing rainwater and

Bandages for Medical use.
