Mauritius Post and Cooperative Bank’s Annual Profit Climbs 12%

Mauritius Post and Cooperative Bank Ltd., a state-owned lender, said net income for the 12 months through December increased 12 percent as revenue climbed.

Net income advanced to 102.6 million rupees ($3.6 million) while revenue rose 17 percent to 854.5 million rupees, the bank said in a statement published in the Port Louis-based Le Matinal newspaper today.
