Patel Engineering Ltd. (PEC), an Indian construction group, plans to build a $500 million resort in Port Louis, the Mauritian capital, Le Matinal reported, without saying where it got the information.

The 58-acre (23-hectare) coastal project, known as Neotown, will consist of villas, a hotel, office parks and marine gardens, the Port Louis-based newspaper said.
