MCB is the nation’s biggest lender

Mauritius’s central bank rated Mauritius Commercial Bank, the nation’s biggest lender and the State Bank of Mauritius Ltd. as “satisfactory” in new financial tests, the Bank of Mauritius said.

The ratings look at commercial banks’ capital, asset quality, management, earnings and liquidity, the Port Louis- based central bank said in a statement on its website.
